The Main Stage Theatre at the LSPU Hall is a newly renovated black box studio theatre with fully functioning sound and lighting systems suitable for intimate theatrical presentations as well as conferences, concerts, dance, film and theatre festivals, recitals, corporate events.

  Capacity

  • Seating Capacity : 198 total
    • 178 fixed plush stadium seating
    • 20 free-standing chairs (front floor row)
  • Wheelchair accessible seating: available in front row by removal of black chairs
  • Seat map: available on the RCA website under box office

Rental Rates

Commercial:

  • $650 per night – one performance (Tues-Thurs)
  • $750 per night – one performance (Fri-Sun)
  • $300 per additional performance, same day (matinee or late night)
  • $500 per matinee or late night only (or events without box office i.e. meetings etc.)
  • $4400 weekly rental rate

 Not for Profit:

  • $345 per night – one performance (Tues–Thurs)
  • $460 per night – one performance (Fri-Sun)
  • $170 per additional performance – same day (matinee or late night)
  • $150 per matinee or late night only (or events without box office i.e. meetings etc.)
  • $2300 weekly rental rate

  Main Stage Box Office:

  • All tickets will be set up and sold through the LSPU Hall box office
    • LSPU Box Office is open Mon - Fri, 12 noon to 5pm, and 2 hours before show time
    • Online Internet ticketing also included
  • Assigned Seating or General Admission tickets available

Rates for the Main Stage include:

  • Technical Support (1 RCA Technical Director, 1 RCA technical assistant for up to 8 hours a day)
  • Additional 4 hour RCA technical support during performance (Renter must provide own sound/lighting operator)
  • Use of Theatre equipment (under supervision of RCA Technical Director)
  • Access to 2 dressing rooms (including 2 private washroom, 1 shower, lockers)
  • Ushers
  • Use of three wall mounted frames in Second Space to display merchandise, posters, etc. (upon availability)
  • Wheelchair accessibility via lift in main lobby
  • Wi-Fi connection and internet data jacks
