Wolf in the Fold: A Staged Reading

February 1, 2017

5pm-7pm. Cox & Palmer Second Space.
Pay-What-You-Like: All proceeds go towards CAPE, ACTRA’s Emergency Fund

A premier with a secret. A stranger full of menace. And a wife caught in a bargain. It all plays out in a stylish address in downtown St. John’s, against a backdrop of political shenanigans, cocktail party espièglerie, and the storied sacrifice of the Newfoundland Regiment.

Join us for a reading of Wolf in the Fold, featuring Aiden Flynn, actor, writer, producer, and the director of the provincial Arts and Culture Centres; Patrick Jeffrey, a writer/actor from PEI whose St. John’s appearances have included Sweetline Productions’ Three Days of Rain and episodes of Frontier; and actor/director Nicole Rousseau, RCA’s Artistic Animateur.

Doors (and cash bar) open at 5pm, with the reading starting at 5:30pm and running about one hour.

Wolf in the Fold debuted in 1994 at RCA, toured the provincial Arts and Culture Centres, and was remounted by Rabbittown Theatre in 2004.

“For whatever reason, audiences have always seemed really fond of this play,” said playwright Joan Sullivan, who has revised and updated the script for this reading.
