All proceeds will be shared between RCA and CAPE (Cultural Artists Plan for Emergencies)

The CAPE Fund is a province-wide artist’s emergency fund committed to helping professionals working in culture, arts and entertainment in Newfoundland and Labrador. Since its inception in 2005, The Cultural Artists Plan for Emergencies (CAPE) Fund has become a life line for artists in our community who find themselves in unexpected crisis situations.  CAPE is renowned in our community as a safe haven for artists. The fund has provided over $60,000 in funding to theatre, music, film, visual artists and writers who have found themselves in catastrophic and medical situations where they needed immediate assistance. This year alone, CAPE has received six applications for assistance and our fund is depleting.
